The program

Four tracks. Four things built.

Over the Dashain and Tihar break and the month of weekends that follows, every student works through four tracks. In each one they make something real, test it, fix it, and learn to explain it.

Game Design & Development

Children who love playing games learn to make them, and discover how much thinking goes into a good one.

WHAT THEY LEARN

  • What makes a game fun: goals, rules, challenge and feedback
  • Designing characters, levels and a story
  • Programming game logic: movement, scoring and collisions
  • Using AI for art, sound and ideas, while the child makes the decisions
  • Playtesting with friends and improving from what they see
THEY BUILDA complete, playable game of their own design, plus a one-page design plan.
Logical thinkingCreativityProblem solvingPersistence

Website Design & Development

Every app and site they use was built by someone. Here, they become the builder.

WHAT THEY LEARN

  • How websites work: pages, links, browsers and servers
  • Structuring pages with HTML and styling them with CSS
  • Layout, colour and typography, including looking good on a phone
  • Simple interactivity with JavaScript for older students
  • Using AI as a coding and content helper, and checking its work
THEY BUILDA multi-page website: a personal portfolio, or a site for a cause or local business.
Design thinkingCoding basicsAttention to detailCommunication

AI Tools Explore

AI is already in their world. They learn to use it well, and to question it.

WHAT THEY LEARN

  • What AI is and how it learns from data, in age-appropriate terms
  • Writing clear prompts: role, task, context and format
  • Creating with AI: images, writing, presentations, voice and video ideas
  • AI for school: explaining, quizzing and summarising, and where help becomes cheating
  • Spotting mistakes, bias, deepfakes and misinformation
THEY BUILDA personal AI study workflow, and an AI-assisted presentation or creative project.
Critical thinkingClear communicationResearchResponsible use

Robotics

Code leaves the screen. Students make real hardware sense the world and respond to it.

WHAT THEY LEARN

  • What a microcontroller is, using Arduino
  • Building circuits with LEDs, buttons and buzzers
  • Sensors for light, distance, temperature and motion
  • Motors and movement: servos, wheels and automation
  • Debugging: finding out why something doesn't work, step by step
THEY BUILDProjects such as an automatic night light, a mini security alarm, an automatic gate and an obstacle-avoiding robot.
Engineering thinkingTroubleshootingPatienceTeamwork

Tools and depth are matched to age and experience. Younger students use visual, beginner-friendly tools; older students write code. Hardware arrangements for online students are confirmed at enrolment.

How it runs

From holiday break to finished projects

The program starts with the Dashain and Tihar holidays and carries on through one month of weekends, so projects have time to be finished properly.

Dashain & Tihar holidays

Students are introduced to all four tracks and start their projects.

Saturdays & Sundays, 1 month

Weekend sessions carry each project through to the finish: build, test, improve.

Showcase & certificate

Students present what they built and receive their certificate.

National competition

Optional next step: students can take part in a national-level competition.

A typical session day: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

  1. 11:00 – 11:15
Welcome & warm-upArrival, a quick recap of last time, and the goal for today.
  2. 11:15 – 12:45
Learn & buildA short demonstration of the new idea, then straight into building it.
  3. 12:45 – 1:30
Lunch & breakTime to eat, rest and play. Lunch is available as an option.
  4. 1:30 – 2:40
Build & experimentLonger, focused project time: try, break, fix and improve.
  5. 2:40 – 3:00
Show & shareStudents show what they made today and say what they would change.

Exact timings may shift slightly from day to day, but the 11:00 am start and 3:00 pm finish stay fixed.

How we teach

Learning by doingStudents build from the first session, rather than watching slides.
Creativity before complexityThe idea comes first; the tools and code follow.
Understand what you buildIf a child built it, they can explain how it works.
AI as a tutor, not a shortcutAI helps students think. It never does the thinking for them.
Solve something realProjects aim at genuine problems, however small.

What your child gains

More than a new skill. A new way of thinking.

Tools change quickly. What stays useful is learning how to make things, solve problems and explain your thinking, and that's what this program is built around.

Makers, not just users

Children move from consuming apps and games to creating them, and see how technology works underneath.

Logic and problem solving

Breaking a big problem into small steps, and finding the fault when something doesn't work.

Confidence and communication

Every track ends with showing and explaining the work, which builds comfort speaking about ideas.

Responsible AI use

Using AI as a thinking assistant, with honest habits about homework, accuracy and privacy.

Teamwork

Group challenges teach children to share ideas, divide the work and rely on each other.

A portfolio of real work

A game, a website, AI projects and a robot: concrete work to show family, teachers and competitions.

What you may notice at home

Every child is different, but these are the changes we hope to see.

“Wait, how does that actually work?”
Explaining, step by step, what they built.
Trying a fix before giving up or asking for help.
Checking an AI answer instead of trusting it.

Technology with guardrails

AI is taught as a tutor, never a shortcut. Students must be able to explain any code or circuit they present, and privacy and honest use are discussed from the first week.

An honest promise

We don't promise grades, jobs or career outcomes. We promise skills, confidence and finished projects your child can explain to anyone who asks.

Recognition & next steps

Certified. Then, if they choose, nationwide.
